We are seeking a knowledgeable HSE Engineer to ensure the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our workplace. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing safety procedures, conducting risk assessments, and providing training to employees.
Job Responsibility:
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental programs in compliance with regulations and company policies
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and risks
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Provide HSE training to employees and contractors on policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with management to establish safety goals and objectives
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to health, safety, and environmental activities
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience working as an HSE Engineer or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Certification in health and safety (e.g. NEBOSH, OSHA) is a plus
