The HSE Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, and environmental management systems across the organization. The role ensures full compliance with UAE regulations and international standards, minimizes workplace risks, promotes a strong safety culture, and supports sustainable operational practices.
Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and management systems.
Ensure compliance with UAE laws, local authority regulations, and international standards.
Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
Identify workplace hazards and implement preventive and corrective measures.
Monitor and investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports.
Lead incident root cause analysis and recommend improvement actions.
Plan and conduct HSE training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs.
Coordinate emergency preparedness, fire drills, and evacuation procedures.
Ensure proper use of PPE and enforce safety rules on-site.
Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and auditors on HSE matters.
Maintain HSE documentation, permits, and compliance records.
Monitor environmental performance, waste management, and sustainability practices.
Support project teams in implementing safe work methods and procedures.
Promote a proactive safety culture across all departments.
Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Engineering, or related field.
Professional HSE Certification (NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / OSHA / ISO Lead Auditor preferred).
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws and international safety standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
Proven experience in managing HSE systems and audits.
Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental management systems.
Excellent risk assessment and hazard identification skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Effective communication and training skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving capability.
Ability to prepare detailed reports and documentation.
Proficiency in MS Office and HSE reporting tools.
High attention to detail and compliance orientation.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple sites/projects.
