Job Brief:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HSE Officer to join our client's team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the manufacturing industry, with strong knowledge of HSE practices, risk assessments, and compliance with UAE regulations. You will play a key role in ensuring workplace safety, implementing safety standards, and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor the company’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and international standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits within the manufacturing facility.
  • Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards where applicable.
  • Provide safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs to staff at all levels.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of safety reports, audits, and compliance records.
  • Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure preparedness across teams.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure adherence to UAE HSE laws and guidelines.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to occupational health, safety, and environmental practices.


Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Safety Engineering or a related field.
  • NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for reporting and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence safety culture.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
