We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major energy infrastructure projects such as greenfield or brownfield HV substations projects from 132kV to 400kV, in the Abu Dhabi Region. The ideal candidate will bring 8–12 years of proven project management experience in the energy sector, with a successful track record of delivering projects in collaboration with TAQA (TRANSCO).

This role requires a balanced expertise between operational project execution and cost estimation during tender phases. The Project Manager will work closely with the HV Tender Leader to prepare competitive offers at tender stage and during execution will take full ownership of project delivery, from execution studies through to final delivery, commissioning & handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of energy infrastructure projects, from planning and execution studies to commissioning and handover.

  
  

• Collaborate with the HV Tender Leader to support tender preparation, including technical and financial bid development, BOQ preparation, suppliers and subcontractors RFQ preparation, execution methodologies.

  
  

• Ensure accurate cost estimation, schedule preparation and risk assessment during tender phases.

  
  

• Oversee operational project execution, ensuring compliance with VINCI’s HSE standards and regulation, technical standards and contractual obligations.

  
  

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, OEMs/vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to achieve project milestones.

  
  

• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, providing regular reporting to senior management.

  
  

• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.

  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).

  
  

• 8–12 years of project management experience in energy infrastructure projects within the UAE.

  
  

• Demonstrated success in projects involving TAQA (TRANSCO).

  
  

• Strong expertise in both operational project execution and tender cost estimation.

  
  

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  
  

• Contract management

  
  

• PMP certification is a strong plus.

  
  

• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
