Our Client is hiring to lead and manage the overall IT infrastructure and systems for the company, ensuring that all technology solutions support business operations, enhance customer experience, and enable retail efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
  • IT Operations & Infrastructure
    • Manage all in-store and back-office IT systems, including POS (Point of Sale), ERP, inventory systems, and customer data platforms.
    • Ensure reliable and secure network and server infrastructure across store and corporate environments.
    • Oversee maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting for all hardware and software systems.
  • Security & Data Protection
    • Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive customer and company data.
    • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, local data laws).
    • Manage backups and disaster recovery plans.
  • Retail System Management
    • Oversee POS systems, ensuring uptime and integration with inventory, loyalty programs, and reporting tools.
    • Collaborate with store operations to improve tech-enabled customer experiences (e.g. mobile apps, self-checkout, online ordering systems).
  • Vendor & System Integration
    • Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and software partners.
    • Evaluate and implement new technologies and systems as needed.
  • Team Leadership & Support
    • Supervise IT support staff and coordinate helpdesk support for store and HQ users.
    • Train employees on best practices for using retail systems and technology tools.
  • IT Strategy & Budgeting
    • Develop and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective technology solutions.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation in retail operations.

Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of IT experience, preferably in a retail or FMCG environment.
    • Solid understanding of retail systems: POS, ERP, inventory management, and CRM platforms.
    • Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, and data protection best practices.
    • Proven experience managing IT teams and multiple locations/stores is a plus.
    • Certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, ITIL) are advantageous.
