Knowledge and skills:


Good command of the English language with verbal and written communication skills


Must be flexible: willing to work long hours, weekends and be on call if required (periodically);


Arabic is an advantage


In depth understanding of Health, Safety and Environment Management procedures


Full understanding of Company safety rules and practical application


Practical understanding associated to the operating principle of Water treatment, Desalination and a wide


range of auxiliary plant.


Ability to operate the wide range of plant from the Field as well as being able to analyze problems


In depth understanding and application of Operating Instructions and Procedures relating RO plant


Conduct routine operating and testing procedures in accordance with Operating Instructions.


Demonstrate a Responsibility for making accurate and timely decisions on matters affecting plant


processes and performance.


Comprehensive understanding & Practical experience of;


chemical systems for desalination and potabilization: Including safe handling, dosing, and


monitoring of various chemicals (such as anti-scalants, coagulants, disinfectants, and pH


adjusters) essential to the desalination and potable water processes.


sludge thickening, dewatering, and disposal methods to handle by-products of the desalination


process in compliance with environmental standards.


reverse osmosis membrane operation, fouling prevention, cleaning processes, and efficiency


optimization


Isolates and prepares equipment for safe work, including issuing Safe Work Permits


Ability to conduct system pre start checks and return plant safely to the system


Must be able to perform First Aid and CPR
