Maintenance Technician will be reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the job holder maintains the equipment and infrastructure in good working order to ensure optimal production conditions. Performs developed preventative/predictive maintenance tasks.
Support personnel (operators) as needed to complete specific work. Assist with machine changeovers, as required.
Willing to be called in for repairs on all shifts
Knowledge about reading P&ID for process and Utilities
Knowledge about logic of interlocking of the equipment or system

ITI (Electrician/ Mechanical) 2 years Full Time course or Full Time Diploma course in Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering
5-7 Years of experience in Maintenance and Utilities
Knowledge about Permit to Work System
Able to analyse and troubleshoot Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical issues
Able to read and interpret Electrical circuit drawings for PCC, MCC and Utilities
Availability to work on call whenever required
Need to work in shifts
Ability to use hand tools and power tools
Working knowledge of computer applications (MS Office suite, internet accessibility)
Must possess skills in mechanics (AODD Pumps, pumps, gearboxes, machinery repair)
Understanding of all types of instrumentation and calibration procedures
Understanding of all types of instrumentation and calibration procedures
Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, willing to improve systems and to adapt to new technologies
Preferred candidates from Chemical Industry
Respond to demands and make decisions in a short period of time.
Team-oriented
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks undefined
Handling some corrosive chemicals or work with critical devices
§ Exposure to hazard conditions (e.g. high temperatures, projections, chemical vapours)
