Job Summary


The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for planning, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for products manufactured through QuickShip to ensure efficient production, consistent quality, and compliance with engineering and industry standards. This position will support machining, assembly, testing, and inspection operations, while driving continuous improvement, cost reduction, and safe manufacturing practices. The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with Engineering, Quality and Production teams to support new product introductions and resolve manufacturing issues.


This position will also support operations manager in the planning & execution of CAPEX projects in QuickShip & MEAPAC and will assist in the digital transformation journey.


In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:


  • Review the Manufacturing capability regularly and support the new product manufacturing.
  • Review and provide engineering solutions for the concerns raised during the assembly, testing and machining activities.
  • Preparation of Standard Operating procedures for Safety, Manufacturing and Operations and provide the necessary training for the team.
  • Review and be the focal point for the analysis of the tooling requirements and responsible for the design of tooling & fixtures to support the manufacturing activities in QuickShip.
  • Responsible for the creation of routing & BOM for the MAKE items in QuickShip & MEAPAC.
  • Be the focal point and support the breakdown maintenance & preventive maintenance of equipment in QuickShip & MEAPAC
  • Provide support in execution of CAPEX projects for both QuickShip & MEAPAC.
  • Assist in the factory automation & intelligent automation journey in QuickShip & MEAPAC.
  • Support the 5S+1 & Lean manufacturing activities.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.

Who You Are:


  • Control Valve Engineering and Manufacturing Knowledge 
  • Knowledge in Manufacturing Practices like Assembly, Machining, Fabrication & Testing.
  • Experience in designing Tools and Fixtures

For This Role, You Will Need:


  • Engineering degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Electrical
  • 5years’ experience in Manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:


  •  Experience in handling CAPEX and Automation Projects
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, TPM
