A large scale fabricator, with an international presence, are looking to appoint an experience Materials Control Manager to be based in ICAD, Abu Dhabi.
The business offers a steady work place, not project based, where they are constantly busy with demand. They function in a structured, reporting, measured environment, with KPI systems in place.
About the Job
Receive close to 100m USD material issued from our clients at any one time. This material is received in the yard, QC inspected, stored, entered into inventory system, put material into fabrication, control entire process, ship it, at end of job (customer asks about how much was used and what is remaining).
In charge of material management in shop.
Incoming and outgoing materials.
Issuance of material to the shop for fabrication.
Required Profile & Skillset
10+ years experience in materials control management, with career progression from materials engineer to materials controller to materials lead and/or manager (or similar)
Detail orientated and used to dealing with large volumes of material at any one time.
Well versed in material re-consolidation.
EPC background is a big plus.
Education
Degree educated.
