Mechanical Technician (Water Pump)- Dubai Others Job Responsibilities:
Water Pump Services:
Perform repair, maintenance, and overhaul services on a wide range of water pumps, including brands such as Grundfos, Xylem, KSB, and pump types like long-coupled, multistage, and sump pumps.
Conduct diagnostics and troubleshoot pump-related issues to restore functionality effectively.
Installation and Commissioning:
Handle new pump installations, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and operational requirements.
Conduct commissioning to verify proper installation and performance.
AMC Management:
Execute tasks under Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for water pump systems, ensuring regular servicing to prevent downtime.
Maintain accurate records of AMC schedules and service activities.
Plumbing and System Integration:
Perform basic plumbing tasks related to pump installations and maintenance.
Ensure proper integration of pumps into existing systems and pipelines.
Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to company safety policies and ensure that all work complies with local regulations and standards.
Customer and Team Interaction:
Coordinate with customers and team members to provide efficient and quality service.
Assist in identifying and procuring spare parts and materials required for repair and maintenance.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in water pump services, including repair, maintenance, and new installations.
Knowledge:
Expertise in working with water pump brands like Grundfos, Xylem, KSB, and similar.
Hands-on experience with long-coupled, multistage, and sump pumps.
Familiarity with basic plumbing tasks.
Skills: Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and precision.
Other Attributes: Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
