As the
MEP Technical Manager you will be reporting into the General Manager handling a range of pre & post contract tasks.
This TIER 1 MEP Sub-Contracting business has a track record handling Healthcare, Industrial, Education, Hospitality, Technology & High End Residential
Based full time in
Dubai your focus will be adding specific advice and insight to bidding and also providing support to Project Managers on live projects.
Your immediate line manager will be the Operations Manager and General Manager that you will be in close dealings with for a range of projects and task. Do you have clear experience handling a full delivery of MEP Services, from design conception to completion. This role offers you the chance to really put your STAMP on the department. Do you have the lessons learnt to ensure successful bids & projects are delivered in the local UAE market.

Duties: - Analyze technical drawings, submittals, procurement of long lead items and raising RISK when needed
- Looking at Materials, Solutions and Installations to find wins for all parties
- Collaborating at Design Stages to Value Engineer on HVAC, Electrical, HV/LV , Switchgear, Generators , ELV & BMS
- Manage internal team handling CAD & shop drawings
- Adding value at Bid & Submission stages
- Able to present to a client if called upon
- Forming part of SLT in the DXB head Office
- Pulling planning, cost and technical elements all together
- Liaise with Project Directors and Operations Managers for installations and deadlines
- Support teams through strong management and mentoring
- Keeping clear lines of communication up stream and down. Keeping everyone motivated and on course.
- Provide support for all stages of projects internally and externally from bidding through to final account.
Group are in an enviable position to have work secured for 2026 & 2027 so this is a key appointment to streamline processes and procedures. Can you help this group head towards there 5 Year business plan for 2030.
Requirements:
7 Years Local UAE experience Software experience : BIM , REVIT, CADMEP CV must show clear experience working in a Technical Manager or Engineering Manager capacity handling all aspects from Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing packages
You will be able to delve into the detail on project reviews pulling back the layers in sequencing, installations and programs
You will be able to make a program for a 5* Hotel handling it from first principles understanding how all elements come together
Posses a calm, calculated and assured attitude to handle issues as they arise. Able to think outside the box to come up with innovative solutions
You will be able to protect your bid and strategy and have a clear focus on the why's & how's for project success .
Degree Educated - Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Hands on experience of Design, Construction & Commissioning in the UAE MEP Sub-Contractor market.
10 Years Post graduate experience
Candidates must be based in the UAE and able to start employment before the 10th February of 2026 LATEST
You will have an in-depth knowledge of local codes, rules and regulations in relation to MEP systems and buildings
