Job Description
POSITION: Multi Welder
DEPARTMENT: TS - MSS
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Work Visa
DUTY HOURS: 08 Hours per Day | 6 Days per Week
LOCATION: As per Project / Site Requirement
SALARY: SAR 3,000 + FAT (Food, Accommodation, Transportation)
The Multi Welder is responsible for performing a wide range of welding and cutting activities to support maintenance, repair, and modification works in industrial facilities. The role ensures all welding activities are carried out in full compliance with SABIC welding standards, engineering specifications, and HSE requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Welding Operations: Perform welding using multiple processes including SMAW (Arc), GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), and oxy-fuel cutting for maintenance work
2.Fabrication & Repair: Carry out repair and fabrication welding on piping, structural steel, vessels, and mechanical equipment.
3.Technical Compliance: Read and interpret welding drawings, WPS, P&IDs, and technical specifications to ensure work complies with approved standards.
4.Preparation & Inspection: Clean, cut, grind, and align materials prior to welding, and perform visual inspections of completed welds.
Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to SABIC HSE procedures (PTW, Hot Work Permits, Fire Watch) and maintain welding machines and tools.
QUALIFICATION
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Multi Welder in maintenance, preferably in petrochemical or oil & gas environments.
Certification: Valid welding certifications (ASME, AWS, or equivalent) and proficiency in SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW.
