Job Description

As an Oncology-Hematology Product Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and execution of marketing plans for hematology products within GSK's portfolio. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Sales, Regulatory, and Market Access, to ensure the successful launch and lifecycle management of products.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and strategies for hematology products.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Define product positioning, target audiences, and key messaging.
  • Lead product launch initiatives and ensure timely execution of launch plans.
  • Monitor product performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead and manage the local cross-functional joint planning sessions to ensure launch excellence for our hematology portfolio
  • Work closely with Medical Affairs to ensure alignment of clinical and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to develop sales tools, training materials, and promotional campaigns.
  • Partner with Regulatory and Legal teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Work in alignment with market access teams for building value dossier for the oncology portfolio for maximizing the payer value proposition that optimizes the payer value equation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals in the hematology field.
  • Develop and execute customer engagement plans, including scientific meetings, conferences, and advisory boards.
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from customers to refine product strategies and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage budgets for marketing activities and programs.
  • Monitor and report on the financial performance of hematology products.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management on product performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates on marketing activities, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Ensure effective communication of product information to internal and external stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:


We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:


  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field, MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical product management.
  • Recent marketing experience on hematology or oncology is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the hematology market, including key players, trends, and regulatory environment.
  • Experience in new launch readiness and portfolio acceleration.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, problem-solving skills and excellence in project management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant marketing tools and software.
