Position Purpose


The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance and profitability of multiple restaurant outlets, ensuring consistent excellence in service, food quality, and operational standards. The role ensures that all branches operate efficiently in accordance with the companys policies, brand values, and customer satisfaction goals.


Key Responsibilities


  • Maintain high-quality standards across all outlets, ensuring strict adherence to company operating procedures.
  • Oversee daily operations, including labor planning, scheduling, and manpower utilization to optimize productivity.
  • Support and enforce learning & development initiatives for all employees under supervision.
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance reports to enhance efficiency and cost control.
  • Ensure all restaurants follow company security and safety procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve labor or operational issues, escalating where necessary to management.
  • Lead and mentor outlet managers, conducting performance reviews, coaching sessions, and corrective counseling.
  • Ensure cash, inventory, payroll, and yield controls are effectively managed across all outlets.
  • Oversee maintenance and repair of restaurant equipment and facilities; initiate capital budgets when necessary.
  • Collaborate with Finance to develop and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring profitability targets are met.
  • Maintain strong communication with cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, Projects & Design, Creative, Admin & General).
  • Maintain regular attendance in line with company standards.
  • Adapt to flexible working schedules based on business needs.
  • Undertake special projects and duties assigned by senior management for the benefit of the organization.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Hands-on problem solver with excellent decision-making and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
  • High proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with POS and inventory management systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Sound knowledge of F&B operations, cost control, inventory, and purchasing practices.
  • Strong financial acumen with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Excellent client and stakeholder relationship management.

Qualification:


Education:


  • Bachelors degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Operations Manager in the restaurant industry.
  • Prior multinational or UAE-based experience is highly preferred.

Licenses/Certificates:


  • Valid driving license required.
  • Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
