Qualifications:
  • Minimum high school education.
  • At least 5 years of relevant practical experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas sector.
  • Work experience certificate as Painter/Sand Blaster.
  • Teamwork, cooperation, and fair knowledge of written and spoken English.
Job Description:
  1. Painting and Sand Blasting:


    • Experience with spray painting, sandblasting units, and related tools.
    • Capable of painting and sandblasting machine components and assemblies.
    • Perform required painting tasks as per work orders and supervisor instructions.
  2. Maintenance and Inspection:


    • Assist in routine paint inspection, FRP lining, and surface preparation.
    • Perform maintenance checks on paints for tanks, pipelines, drainage pipes, supports, valves, firewater systems, hydrants, pumps, transformers, shelters, generators, radiators, cooling systems, etc.
    • Report any leakages or maintenance requirements and follow supervisor instructions for necessary maintenance.
  3. Material and Tool Management:


    • Prepare lists of materials and tools needed for painting, lining, cleaning, and scaffolding activities.
  4. Painting Operations:


    • Set up and arrange equipment as per approved specifications or supervisor instructions.
    • Paint stands, covers, supports for instrument control panels, electric switchboards, cabinets, transformers, pumps, plant piping, ladders, and walkways for storage tanks and processing areas.
