Job Title: Petroleum Engineer
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (Frequent offshore visits as required)
Salary: AED 12,000 – 14,000 per month (non-negotiable)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Petroleum Engineer with extensive experience in ESP (Electrical Submersible Pump) completion design and operations to join our Abu Dhabi team. The role involves both onshore office work and offshore operational oversight, ensuring optimized well performance and production efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan, supervise, and execute rig-based operations, including ESP design and acid stimulation activities.


  • Recommend and implement well completion improvements with a focus on ESP systems.


  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, ensuring cost control and resource optimization.


  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards during all operations.


  • Analyze production performance, manage production data, and propose optimization solutions.


  • Interpret pressure data from well tests to assess reservoir performance.


  • Develop well intervention strategies, including workovers and stimulation programs.


  • Monitor and evaluate well performance trends, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions.


  • Ensure accurate data acquisition, validation, and reporting for production and pressure analysis.


Requirements:


  • Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in petroleum engineering within the oil & gas industry.


  • Specialization in ESP completion design and operations.


  • Extensive knowledge of drilling, completion, wireline, and other oilfield operations.


  • Proficiency in reservoir simulation, drilling software, and statistical analysis tools.


  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.


  • Effective team leadership and excellent verbal and written communication skills.


  • Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.


Benefits & Work Conditions:


  • Working hours: Abu Dhabi office – 07:00 to 15:00 (5 days/week); Offshore – 06:30 to 18:30 (7 days/week, 1-hour lunch).


  • Leave: 150 days/year for single status; 335 days/year for family status (applicable after probation).
