About the job Piping Engineer Job Title: Piping Engineer – Oil & Gas Location:

Abu Dhabi


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Piping Engineer with 14+ years of experience in oil & gas projects, including onshore and offshore work. The candidate will lead piping design, review deliverables, perform stress analysis, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and EPC contractors, preferably with experience in ADNOC projects.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead piping design and layout during FEED and Detailed Engineering.


  • Prepare, review, and approve piping deliverables, including material specs, isometrics, GA drawings, and support designs.


  • Perform piping stress analysis ensuring compliance with ASME, API, and project standards.


  • Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil, structural, and instrumentation teams.


  • Participate in 3D model reviews, constructability assessments, and HAZOP/HAZID sessions.


  • Oversee field piping activities, including installation, inspection, hydrotesting, and commissioning.


  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.


  • Review vendor documents and manage technical queries for equipment integration.


Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.


  • 14+ years of experience in piping engineering for oil & gas projects, including onshore and offshore.


  • Experience with ADNOC projects and working with EPC contractors.


  • Proficiency in piping design and analysis software (CAESAR II, AutoPIPE, PDMS, SP3D).


  • Strong knowledge of piping stress analysis, support design, and international codes (ASME, ASTM, API) and ADNOC specifications.


  • Excellent communication, coordination, and technical problem-solving skills.
