The Plant Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing daily production operations in the snacks food manufacturing facility. The role ensures that production targets are achieved efficiently, safely, and in compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards, while optimizing resources and maintaining high productivity.
Tactical
• Develop and implement production plans aligned with demand forecasts and business targets.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Monitor production KPIs and initiate corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce wastage.
Operational (Core)
• Manage daily production of snack products (chips, extruded snacks, baked/fried products, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, hygiene standards).
• Ensure optimal machine utilization and adherence to production schedules.
• Control material usage, yields, and minimize process losses.
Operational (General)
• Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
People Management
• Lead, train, and supervise production supervisors, operators, and line staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support skill development of team members.
• Ensure discipline, motivation, and a safe working environment on the shop floor.
• Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards across shifts.
Education and Certification
· Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
· Certification in Food Safety FSSC , (HACCP / ISO 22000 / GMP)
· 6-12 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably in snacks or FMCG
· Minimum 3-5 years in a managerial or supervisory production role

· Understanding of food safety, quality, and hygiene standards
· Leadership and people management skills
· Production planning and KPI management
· Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
· Good communication and reporting skills
