The Plumber is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of all plumbing systems within the hotel to ensure uninterrupted water supply, drainage, and sanitation services. Duties include maintaining water supply lines, drainage and sewage systems, pumps, valves, fixtures, and sanitary fittings in guest rooms, kitchens, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
The role involves attending to plumbing breakdowns and guest complaints, carrying out preventive maintenance, detecting leaks and blockages, replacing faulty components, and ensuring proper functioning of hot and cold water systems. The Plumber works closely with the Engineering team, follows safety and hygiene standards, maintains maintenance records, and complies with hotel policies, health, safety, and regulatory requirements while working flexible shifts as per operational needs
