MAIN PURPOSE



The PR manager is a key contributor to manage and execute the PR strategy in accordance with the Maison guidelines to support the business objectives and the growth of Montblanc in the region by maximizing the brand’s exposure, impact and image. With the aim of increasing brand visibility & awareness, in line with international corporate guidelines and within the defined budget.



ROLE SCOPE



Define the PR Strategy for Montblanc in the region



  • Develop and implement regional press strategy and communication



  • Ensure dispatch and a strong influx of relevant information to the key media and retailers



  • Ensure qualitative and quantitative press coverage (print and digital)



  • Develop a media relation strategy



  • Pitch stories to the Maison to English and Arabic titles



  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests



  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships and sponsorships on an ongoing basis



  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a monthly basis



  • Coordinate public relations activities: press-related events for new launches, press trips, shootings & communication



  • Develop and implement crisis communication advice and media strategy if needed, aligned with HQ guidelines



Agency Management:



Responsible for the management of all agencies related to media & brand relations across the region



Responsible for ensuring the development, management and implementation of all annual media and brand relations plans are aligned with overall global brand and regional marketing strategy



Responsible for the appointment and approval of all external marketing agencies and suppliers required for the execution of marketing activities across the region



Responsible for ensuring all agencies meet both brand and Richemont international and regional requirements for external suppliers and agencies



Lead the key ambassador strategy in the region



  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them



  • Build and develop long-term relationships with all relevant stakeholders for the Maison’s future in the marketing ecosystem



  • Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness



  • Contribute to growing the VIP and KOL Database (local government, artists, royalties…)



  • Suggest and recruit new ambassadors in line with the Maison strategy



  • Assist in the management of brand ambassadors and influencers contracts and deliverables, manage them on-site



  • Set up relevant PR initiatives to meet objectives



  • Recommend product placement in photoshoots, events and social media…



  • Forecasts of quantities of gifts for press



  • Follow up PR budget for kits, press trips, shoots



Responsible for the creative media and visual performance shootings



  • Help in designing and reviewing a variety of promotional and marketing materials



  • Develop advertising and marketing communications and prepare directions for articles



  • Optimize editorial results vs budget spent with the media



  • Identify key profiles for shootings and build excellent relationships with them



  • Plan, implement and manage the shootings



  • Monitor corporate image frequently



  • Produce content for various speeches, events, hearings



Budget & Reporting:



  • Responsible for the MEIA PR budget



  • Responsible for keeping the budget up-to-date and accurate on a monthly basis



  • Responsible for ensuring the management of all associated Richemont and brand reporting systems are regularly updated



  • Responsible for ensuring all Richemont and brand policies and guidelines associated with budget management are followed



REQUIRED EXPERIENCES:



  • Experience in similar PR roles in the MEIA region



  • A proven track record of successful PR campaigns



  • Excellent communication, presentation and managerial skills



  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills



  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills



  • Have a full understanding of media needs and media relationships



Technical skills/abilities:



  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)



  • Strong project management and analytical skills



  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic



  • Ability to travel within MEIA region (including KSA) & Europe



Language skills:



  • Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic (written and spoken)



  • French is an advantage
