Job Description

Key Responsibilities


  1. Responsible for all inventory activities and setup all methodology and equations to control stock such as replenishment stock, TOR, dead stock plan, initial orders, parts categorization, inventory Min. & Max. Level, re-ordering point, safety stock, etc to improve and maintain health of Inventory
  2. Implement proper inventory management process and control to maintain consistent parts availability over 90% across all the branches
  3. Negotiating with principals for extra discount & support periodically, and on case to case basis to ensure profitability & Customer satisfaction
  4. Add to store function with all required documentation and costing elements with proper coordination with finance team for proper costing of the parts
  5. Negotiations for better shipping rates and services with freight forwarder/ Shipper to minimize the cost of the products and lead time
  6. Responsible and develop warehouse operation and internal process for best delivery time to sales team and setup system for measuring performance and developments for better services to Internal and external customer & improve staff efficiency, productivity
  7. Timely placement of Stock / Air / VOR orders to principals to ensure optimum parts availability of Mazda, Mahindra, Veedol, Nexa Auto color, Zeibart and any other franchise added in future to improve parts availability, generate sales, profitability and customer satisfaction
  8. To collect the data on lost sales part nos. & incorporate in the regular ordering system & analyzing the local procurement items for better realization to improve the sales and customer satisfaction
  9. Timely participation in the promotional programs offered by the principals keeping the inventory limits under control by scheduling of orders to achieve bulk sales, reduce surplus and improve inventory turns.
  10. To support NMP & ASM in Price rationalization / Strategic pricing of Products to be competitive in the market  (for customers)
  11. To prepare Parts package list for existing & new vehicles (Menu/Service/Maintenance Contract list) to improve customer retention in Gal w/shop
  12. Submit Monthly reports on inventory management progress and stock status to NPM/ASM to monitor health of the Inventory.
  13. To assist NPM in carrying out Stock count in all Branches, PDC & variance analysis to match physical and system record, correct discrepancies (in books), establish better control and improve profitability
