A multinational sea freight solution provider is recruiting a Procurement Officer for their Dubai office. Job Responsibilities
Responsible for all forms of procurement, hiring, and contracting that occur.
Responsible for contracting logistics services such as sea freight, tank cleaning, agency contracts, etc.
Identify, evaluate, and select reliable and cost-effective shipping solutions.
Negotiate favourable rates and service level agreements with suppliers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including internal departments and external partners.
Implement cost-saving initiatives and generate reports on key performance indicators within the organization and with our logistics providers.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in purchasing services.
Good command of the English language.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced function and formulas.
You have commercial and technical insight and affinity with the transport industry and sea freight.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Attention to details and ability to work under pressure.
Possession of persuasiveness and the ability to influence.
