Production Manager

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire production process, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and adherence to production schedules. This role requires expertise in wood flooring production, color mixing, and finishing processes using lacquer and oil-based wood finishing products. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in wood processing, finishing techniques, and workflow optimization to meet high industry standards.

  • Oversee the manufacturing and finishing of wood flooring, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
    
  • Manage color mixing, staining, and coating processes for consistent and accurate results.
    
  • Ensure proper application of lacquer and oil-based wood finishing products to enhance durability and esthetics.
    
  • Maintain detailed records of color formulations and finishing techniques for repeat orders.
    

• Production Planning & Workflow Optimization:
  

  
  
  • Develop and implement efficient production schedules to meet customer demands.
    
  • Monitor daily output, capacity utilization, and workflow efficiency.
    
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.

  • Ensure all wood flooring products meet color accuracy, durability, and finish consistency.
    
  • Work closely with the quality control team to minimize defects and ensure customer satisfaction.
    
  • Enforce compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in production.

  • Supervise and lead production teams, including machine operators, supervisors, and support staff.
    
  • Train and mentor employees on color mixing, wood finishing, and machine operations.

  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and application of lacquers, oils, and stains.
    
  • Work closely with engineers and maintenance teams to reduce downtime.

  • Monitor raw materials, stock levels, and supply chain logistics.
    
  • Ensure efficient use of wood, lacquers, oils, and colorants to minimize waste.
    
  • Collaborate with procurement to secure high-quality materials for production.

  • Maintain clear communication with sales, logistics, quality control departments.
    
  • Provide regular reports on production efficiency, defects, and improvements to senior management.
    
  • Address any production-related concerns promptly to prevent delays.
    

• Minimum 5 years of experience in wood flooring production or wood finishing.
  
• Strong expertise in lacquer and oil-based wood finishing techniques and Raw materials.
  
• In-depth knowledge of color mixing, staining, and coating applications.
  
• Background in wood processing, manufacturing, and quality control.
  
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
  
• Familiarity with woodworking machinery, sanding, and finishing equipment.
  
• Ability to analyze production efficiency and implement improvements.
