The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and controlling day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure seamless production flow, adherence to quality standards, and achievement of performance targets. The role involves planning work schedules, supervising production staff, monitoring equipment efficiency, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership qualities, hands-on operational exposure, and the ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet planned targets and customer requirements.
Assign tasks to production staff, monitor workflow, and ensure optimum utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
Ensure production processes comply with quality standards, specifications, and safety regulations.
Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot production issues to minimize disruptions and equipment downtime.
Track production metrics such as output, wastage, and efficiency; implement corrective measures when required.
Maintain accurate production logs, shift reports, material usage records, and documentation for audit purposes.
Coordinate with maintenance, quality control, procurement, and warehouse teams to support uninterrupted production.
Conduct toolbox talks, staff training, and performance evaluations to enhance team competency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implement lean manufacturing practices, and optimize resource utilization.
Support new product trials, process modifications, and production line enhancements.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering or any relevant technical discipline.
3 to 5 years of experience in production supervision within a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in the GCC region.
Strong understanding of production processes, equipment operations, and quality systems.
Leadership and team supervision capabilities.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement principles.
Hands-on experience with production planning, machine operation, and workflow control.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional departments.
Proficiency in MS Office and production-related software (ERP systems preferred).
