Job Brief:
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor – Automation to lead and manage automated sheet metal production operations. The role involves supervising programming, laser cutting, punching, bending, and panel bending teams to ensure high productivity, quality standards, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage automated production teams, including programming, laser cutting, punching, bending, and panel bending operations.
• Lead and develop a team of approximately 12 shop-floor employees.
• Ensure daily production targets are achieved in line with quality and safety standards.
• Monitor and control machine performance, downtime, and output efficiency.
• Oversee operations using automated systems, particularly Trumpf and Salvagnini equipment.
• Implement standardized operating procedures and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve workflow.
• Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and operational policies.
• Provide hands-on technical support to production teams when required.
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and skill development activities.
• Maintain accurate production reports and shift records.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to resolve operational issues.
• Take full accountability for production output, quality consistency, and process stability.
• Support management in achieving operational excellence and automation effectiveness.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Production Supervisor in an automated manufacturing environment.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Trumpf and Salvagnini machines (no exceptions).
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and automated production systems.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing shop-floor teams.
• Proven track record in reducing defects and improving production flow.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and people management skills.
• Good communication and reporting abilities.
• Willingness to work in shifts if required.
