The Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing procurement operations, vendor development, cost control, and timely sourcing of raw materials, packaging materials, and machinery required for oil manufacturing and packaging. The role demands strong industry knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.

• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term vendor relationships.

• Ensure timely purchase of raw materials, additives, lubricants, base oil, packaging items (plastic cans, bottles, cartons, labels, caps, etc.), and engineering spares.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production & stores teams to avoid shortages or overstocking.

• Maintain procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, agreements, and supplier evaluations.

• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to ensure cost competitiveness and quality.

• Coordinate with accounts department for timely payments and resolve supplier disputes if any.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE procurement regulations.

• Prepare and present regular procurement reports to management.

• Lead and mentor the purchase team for improved performance and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).

• 6–10 years of proven experience in procurement, specifically within the oil manufacturing & packaging industry.

• Strong knowledge of raw material sourcing, vendor management, and logistics.

• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

• Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

• Ability to handle pressure and work with tight deadlines.
