Summary:
The QA QC Inspector (Building) is responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet all quality and safety standards set by the company and regulatory bodies. They will be involved in inspecting materials, conducting tests, and overseeing work to ensure compliance with specifications and guidelines.
Job Responsibility:
- Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Inspect materials and equipment to verify they meet project requirements
- Perform tests on materials and structures to identify any defects or issues
- Document inspection results and prepare reports for management
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address any quality issues
- Provide guidance and training to construction teams on quality control procedures
- Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancing quality processes
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience working as a QA QC Inspector in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and quality standards
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
- Certification in quality control is a plus.
