We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor -Construction Projects for our client in Abudhabi.
Job Location: Abudhabi
4-9 years experience with at least 3 years experience as Quantity Surveyor
Bachelor degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
•Supports construction, project management, planning and design teams in review of construction, design documents and tender document as prepared by external consultants and/or contractors.
• Supports construction, project management, planning and design teams in a request for tender and tender evaluation process, such as but not limited to identification of list of bidders, support in technical evaluation (cost) etc.
•Verifies the measurement and value of work completed to ensure that payments are made correctly
•Verifies the disputes or arbitrations with respect to claims and prepares the Claim Review Report
•Ensures the Claims Review report is approved by the relevant approval authority and payments are made on time
•Co-ordinates with the claimant and resolves the claim in case of non-approval from the relevant authority.
•Supports in assessing the impact of request for change on the project cost and program.
Conducts verification of the final Bill of Quantity for the closure of the construction phase.
•Supports construction project management in carrying out physical verification of completion of work for closure of the construction phase.
Performs any other relevant task as directed by Construction Director.
•Salary : 20000 AED - 22000 AED
