SearchPlus HR is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Radiographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will work with various imaging modalities, ensuring optimal patient care and safety throughout the imaging process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds, following established protocols
- Explain procedures to patients, ensuring their understanding and comfort before, during, and after imaging
- Position patients safely and effectively to obtain clear and accurate images
- Review and evaluate images for quality assurance and report any issues to the supervising radiologist
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines
- Implement and adhere to radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient care decisions
- Keep abreast of advancements in radiographic technologies and practices
