Job Description:
Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and qualified Research Assistant to support a 20-months research project of children Behaviours and language screening survey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community-based research and demonstrated leadership in managing field studies, she required to drive between Tawam, other Al Ain hospitals and CMHS depending on project needs. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate and oversee field implementation of a research project targeting parents of research participation children. • Coordinate logistics with hospitals • Support recruitment of participants and ensure adherence to ethical procedures • Manage and supervise the use of questionnaires administration. • Able to use the excel and data entry computerize tools as necessary. • Ensure accurate data entry, management, and preliminary quality checks • Maintain organized project documentation and contribute to team discussions • Ensure data quality, including entry, validation, and basic analysis • Contribute to dissemination activities such as reporting, manuscript writing, or stakeholder presentations
Minimum Qualifications:
B.Sc. /M.Sc.
Experience/Skills:
• Prior experience in school, community, or health-related projects is desirable. • Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, and families. • Fluency in English required; Arabic proficiency is an advantage. • Ability to travel regularly between Al Ain hospitals and CMHS or any other necessary fieldwork.
