Safety Manager

Job Description:
 

• Develop and implement safety programs and policies in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Lead safety training sessions for employees and ensure they know safety protocols.
• Monitor and report on safety performance, ensuring health and safety regulation adherence.
• Manage emergency response procedures and lead fire safety, first aid, and evacuation drills.
• Work closely with department heads to ensure safety initiatives are integrated into daily operations.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and safety training.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Safety Manager or in a similar safety role in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and emergency response protocols.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and solve safety issues proactively.
• Certification in safety management or related fields (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.
