Job Description

Role Purpose


The Sales Coordinator provides professional administrative, coordination, and documentation support to the Sales organization. The role ensures effective handling of tenders and projects, timely internal coordination with sales and technical teams, accurate tracking of opportunities, and structured management of technical and project documentation in line with Sika standards and processes.


Key Responsibilities


Tender & Opportunity Coordination


  • Receive, register, and coordinate tender inquiries and projects in hand in accordance with internal processes.
  • Distribute inquiries to the relevant Target Market Managers, Vertical Market Managers, Sales Managers, or Business Development Managers.
  • Coordinate internal follow-up to ensure timely preparation and submission of commercial and technical offers.
  • Track tenders and opportunities from tender stage through award, maintain updated records, and regularly communicate status to sales stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely notification to the responsible sales teams upon project award and support proper internal handover.

Sales & Technical Documentation Support


  • Prepare, coordinate, and maintain sales and technical documentation, including:
    • Compliance statements
    • Product comparison and equivalency documents
    • Technical letters, clarifications, and supporting documentation
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and alignment with approved Sika systems, product data, and specifications.

Material Submittals Coordination


  • Support the review and coordination of material submittals to ensure compliance with:
    • Consultant and contractor requirements
    • Project specifications and approval criteria
  • Coordinate internally to address comments and resubmission requirements.
  • Maintain structured records of approved material submittals for reference, reporting, and future project support.

Project Reference Management


  • Maintain and regularly update the project reference database, including awarded and landmark projects across all technologies.
  • Ensure project data is accurate, complete, and available for sales, marketing, and management reporting purposes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Experience in a project-driven sales environment, preferably within construction or building materials
  • Good understanding of tendering processes and documentation management
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office applications; experience with Salesforce is an advantage
