Job Description

Apt Resources is seeking a dynamic and result-driven Sales Manager to join our client’s team. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining strong relationships within the HORECA sector, driving sales growth, and identifying new business opportunities in the food service industry.


Job Responsibilities


  • Check sales reports on a daily basis and understand the business.
  • Arrange quarterly business reviews with the customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients including hotels, restaurants and cafes.
  • Manage designated customers/accounts within the remit.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure that the company’s products and services are offered and available to the customers, ensuring maximum profitability.
  • Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Prepare the annual contracts in tandem with the customer.
  • Work cross functionally across all internal departments within the company to ensure best service is delivered to the customers.
  • Represent company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
  • Planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing clients on a regular basis.
  • Handling day to day customer queries and complaints, request for quotations and prompting orders
  • Monitor competitor activity and report back to Sales Head.
  • Work closely with Warehouse by email and through phone to complete daily order fulfilment.
  • Well versed with AI apps/ChatGPT Support.
  • Coordinate with 3rd party vendors both on-call and via emails.
  • Check delivery schedules, out of stock lists and service levels on a constant basis.
  • Maintain records of correspondence and quotations for all customers
  • Manage credit control of all accounts.
  • Attend company sales meetings.
