You will actively participate in all sales activities and work in alignment with the Sales & Marketing Plan, focusing on the MICE market segments, with the objective of exceeding the hotel's revenue targets. Your responsibilities will include promoting the hotel brand, securing new business contracts, and maximizing revenue opportunities for the property.
You will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong business relationships across local, domestic, and international markets. This includes monitoring competitor activities and market trends, attending travel functions and sales roadshows, and organizing sales trips to generate business for the hotel.
We will provide you with the necessary training and tools to become a confident Sales Manager who stands out in the market by delivering outstanding results. You will report directly to the Director of Sales & Business Development, who will offer ongoing coaching and support to help you reach your goals.
• College Diploma or equivalent vocational training.
• Must have worked at least 2 years as a Stewarding Supervisor in Hotels or Restaurants
• Excellent attention to detail, speed, accuracy and follow-through
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling
• Strongly committed to teamwork and customer service
• Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
• Pro-active, self motivated, loves challenges
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a 5 star Hotel
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to achieve sales targets and work in a highly pressurized environment
• Passion to lead and a desire to succeed
