Our client, a diversified investment group covering multiple domains in the UAE and the region. It specializes in high-end quality products and providing the market with superior marketing solutions and is looking to hire a Sea Freight Operations Managerfor its Logistics division.



Job Responsibilities:


  • Provide leadership and strategy for a sea freight operations team to promote growth within the company, through realizing current and future business opportunities.
  • Lead and overseeing of all day-to-day operations within the department to ensure that the services being provided are organized and in accordance with the local legislation and operations is running in a smooth manner.
  • Liaise with Customs, Port Authorities, and Shipping Lines as and where necessary to ensure that all rules and regulations are being followed properly.
  • Monitoring and reporting of key performance parameters to ensure the department is running as efficiently as possible with budget planning, people and equipment resources planning, people development, and training.
  • Ability to Identify business & process improvement opportunities, and provide recommendations running of the ocean department. Involvement with Post-Sales activities and Manage Major RFQs.

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in the same position.
