Overview – Dyson MEA


Dyson has set a regional office for Middle East and Africa in Dubai, UAE. The Dubai office provides the vision and strategy for Dyson’s business in MEA, covering key markets such as UAE, Saudi Arabia, ROG and Africa. The Dyson MEA team is a dynamic and ambitious team that challenges convention every single day and pushes boundaries to help grow the Dyson business in MEA and help the markets that fall under its remit reach its full potential.


About the role



Senior Marketing Manager, Beauty is based in our Dubai office. The Marketing Team is responsible for bringing our engineering, technology and products to life through our communication strategy, increasing brand awareness, brand advocacy and driving conversion. Like everything at Dyson, our experience & customer journey is designed with our consumers at the center. We work at pace which underpins are culture and ability to continually transform our business and marketing model.


This role is responsible for delivering the Personal Care category across MEA, driving awareness and focus on using credentials to establish Dyson as a serious contender in the sector. You’ll collaborate with and pull on the expertise of colleagues in media, PR, direct and indirect channels, creative teams, owner experience and work with global teams to provide local commercial contexts to influence strategies.


Key areas of responsibility include:


  • Be the category advocate, develop the ambition and ideas needed to get the best commercial results
  • Support the Head of Marketing to deliver on the P&L by shaping the annual strategic planning process through insight, new ideas and make recommendations about how to improve business performance
  • Lead the budgeting process for the category through accurately forecasting marketing investment requirements to turn strategy into tangible action
  • Accountable for translating strategy into actionable plans for the category. Deliver comprehensive communications plans to deliver category growth and P&L
  • Ensuring implementation of local market range principles, delivery of strategy in order to achieve category KPIs
  • Define the category target audience from global segmentation work, media learnings and owner data to trial and optimise approaches; utilise for audience targeting and distribution opportunities
  • Oversee forecasting to align with budgeting and demand planning for the category
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement product updates, including tactical SKUs, range transitions for end of line product to ensure approach is delivered on brief
  • Measure ROI across all marketing activities to drive confidence in decision making
  • Use market insight to influence GTM plans
  • Shape and oversee premium omnichannel experiences, putting the shopper first
  • Inspire our direct and indirect channel teams to deliver compelling and engaging marketing initiatives for campaigns and NPD launches
  • Accountable for ensuring the local market has a consistent experience and voice at every touchpoint
  • Manage and develop direct team– 2 category managers.

About you



  • Marketing background in beauty with a desire to keep building your career in a company that truly has big plans ahead
  • Fluent in both: Arabic and English
  • A passion for beauty with knowledge on Middle East market and market trends and industry best practice
  • Experience in leading marketing strategies and campaigns;
  • Leading and managing product marketing and communications;
  • Experience working with distributors
  • Knowledge of media and digital environment
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Strong analytical skills
  • 8-10 years of brand marketing experience
