Job Description

Director New Hotels Openings is based in Dubai Office, will lead NHOP team and liaise with all internal stakeholders from key functions to manage all pre-opening milestones and work with the owners as the project moves through the pre- opening process including orientation on IHG ways of working, project kick-off meetings, pre-opening budget & regular catchups to ensure project is on track


Your day to day


  • Be the main point of contact with project team and ownership.
  • Work closely with Design and Engineering team on project updates and progress, support in escalating any potential risks to ownership.
  • Liaise with core team and key functions to ensure all pre-opening tasks are completed in timely manner toward opening date.
  • Ensure all pre-opening milestones are completed according to agreed timeline.
  • Ensure HOM and one force systems are up to date.
  • Communicate on regular basis projects updates, progress, and accomplished points.
  • Ensure all governance, licenses and insurances are fully compliant before opening in line with HMA.

What we need from you


Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Business or equivalent preferred

Critical Expertise & Experience:


  • Has a deep understanding of the markets and the context of operating in a diverse region
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Skilled in negotiation techniques
  • Has previous hotel operating and pre-opening experience
  • Sound knowledge of Project Management
  • Able to influence other through effective communication
