Core responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders. Ensure timely execution while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead and mentor project teams, including engineers, supervisors, and laborers. Assign tasks, optimize resource allocation, and foster collaboration across departments.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors. Maintain strong relationships, communicate progress, and address concerns promptly.
- Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, approve expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legal regulations.
- Quality Assurance & Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to design specifications and client expectations.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare progress reports, financial updates, and client presentations. Maintain accurate project records and provide strategic recommendations to management.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in project management within the landscaping, construction, or civil engineering industry.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale landscaping projects from initiation to completion.
- Expertise in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution. Proficiency in tools like MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit, or GIS mapping.
- In-depth understanding of landscaping techniques, irrigation systems, drainage solutions, and sustainability practices (e.g., LEED standards).
- Strong ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams. Experience in resource allocation and workforce management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client updates, negotiations, and reporting.
- Analytical mindset to assess risks, optimize processes, and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the UAE.
