Job Title: Senior Scriptwriter /Researcher – Arab Nation About the Role The Senior Scriptwriter (Lead Researcher & Writer) leads the storytelling direction for Arab Nation and client pages managed by the team, combining strategic research, creative ideation, and editorial excellence.
This role requires leadership, creativity, and critical thinking to ensure that every piece of content — whether for Arab Nation or clients — delivers accuracy, cultural relevance, and emotional impact.
You will oversee research and writing quality, mentor junior writers, and collaborate with creative leads and producers to craft powerful, original narratives across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities: * Creative Direction & Oversight ● Lead the script development process for Arab Nation and client projects, including series, campaigns, and branded content.
● Provide creative and editorial direction to maintain storytelling consistency across multiple brands.
● Review, edit, and approve scripts developed by the writing team, ensuring they meet quality, tone, and accuracy standards.
● Mentor junior writers and researchers, offering guidance and actionable feedback.
● Support the Head of Content in maintaining editorial excellence and narrative alignment across all platforms.
Research & Content Development ● Supervise research activities to ensure content accuracy, credibility, and relevance for both internal and client projects.
● Identify emerging trends, insights, and opportunities for creative storytelling within regional and digital contexts.
● Transform complex topics into clear, emotionally resonant narratives tailored to diverse audiences.
● Ensure all scripts reflect Arab Nation’s tone, cultural awareness, and the unique voice of each client brand.
Production Collaboration ● Work closely with directors, producers, and on-set teams to preserve the intended story direction during filming.
● Recommend narrative or visual adjustments during production to enhance engagement and clarity.
● Ensure creative concepts are executed seamlessly from script to screen across various brands.
