Job Summary:
The Senior Traffic Engineer - Infrastructure will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing traffic and transportation infrastructure projects, with a focus on bridges, deep utilities, wet and dry utilities, as well as road works.
Job Responsibility:
- Plan, design, and oversee the construction of bridges, deep utilities, wet and dry utilities, and road works projects.
- Conduct traffic impact assessments to ensure efficient flow of traffic during and after construction.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders including local authorities, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success.
- Utilize software and tools to analyze traffic data and propose effective solutions for transportation infrastructure.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with a focus on transportation engineering.
- Proven experience in managing traffic and transportation infrastructure projects, specifically in bridges, deep utilities, wet and dry utilities, and road works.
- Strong knowledge of traffic engineering principles, traffic impact assessments, and relevant software/tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders effectively.
Skills:
- Proficiency in traffic engineering principles and practices
- Knowledge of infrastructure construction, including bridges, deep utilities, wet & dry works, and road construction
- Ability to design and implement traffic management plans
- Understanding of transportation planning and traffic impact assessments
- Experience with transportation modeling software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for coordination with stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines
