The Service Engineer will be reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager and will be based in Dubai. As part of the Security systems Aftermarket team you will install, service, repair and carry out preventative maintenance on the Security systems.
You will be supporting the Service & Maintenance team on designing and execution of projects. As a member of this team, you will work within a dynamic environment that provides a platform for you to develop your technical and project management skills.
How you will do it
As a Service Engineer you will use your strong Security systems technical knowledge to execute site surveys and carry out full dilapidation reports, inspecting all refrigeration components and recommending system enhancements, upgrades and replacements as necessary. As an experienced Service Engineer, you will;
• Ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Security systems (CCTV, Access control, ANPR, facial recognition, intercom, barriers) and other monitoring systems as per the scope of Services.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise the activities and resources for day-to-day activities covered under the contract agreement.
• Coordinate closely with the Head office support departments in a planned manner to get the required support in time.
• Provide technical advice and assistance and makes recommendations based upon field observation and maintenance needs.
• Ensure consistent implementation of work methods and procedures used in maintenance and engineering and recommends improvements.
• Advise on availability of materials, spares, consumables including tools for smooth execution of activities.
• Prepare and review various performance reports such as Preliminary Failure and Root Cause Analysis Etc. Monitor the effectiveness of PM programs and recommends changes as required.
• Execute project with due attention for quality, health and safety and environment and Liaise with the Company Quality & HSE manager on all aspects of quality and safety.
• To ensure that work once started is carried out as planned, and that relevant legislation and regulations are observed on site.
• Send reports as per agreed scope of Services for the works planned and completed.
What we look for
Required
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical /Electronic engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting of Various Security Systems
Experience in handling reports & communications in a concise way
Experience in servicing and maintenance of Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, Gate Barrier, Intrusion Systems, etc
Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, diagrams, submittals and specifications used in installation activities
Proven ability to produce high quality and impactful professional documents for clients and internal use.
Clear understanding of Contractual documents/obligations and preparation of official communications with Client/ Vendors.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
