JOB PURPOSE:
Develop planogram strategy to improve productivity of c-stores space, create and maintain quality of floorplans and planograms that adhere to established category and merchandising strategies and brand values, while using analytics to make data driven decisions on space management.

Job Specific Accountabilities
Space Planning and Analysis
· Develop and implement space management plans and guidelines for various retail formats and categories, taking into account the store size, layout, traffic, and assortment.
· Analyse sales, inventory, and market data to identify opportunities and challenges for space management, such as increasing profitability, reducing out-of-stocks, improving customer satisfaction, and enhancing brand visibility
· Use space planning software and tools to create and update planograms, floor plans, and store layouts, ensuring that they are accurate, consistent, and compliant with the company standards and policies.
· Monitor and evaluate the performance and compliance of space management initiatives and provide feedback and recommendations, using metrics such as sales per square foot, inventory turnover, shelf productivity, and customer feedback.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate and execute space management strategies and best practices, such as sales managers, marketing managers, category managers, store managers, suppliers, and vendors.
· Present and explain the rationale and benefits of space management proposals and solutions to various audiences, such as senior management, store staff, and customers.
· Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise from space management decisions and actions, such as inventory shortages, display errors, or customer complaints.
Space Management Innovation and Improvement
· Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in space management and retail, and explore new ways to optimize the use of space and enhance the customer experience.
· Conduct research and benchmarking on the space management practices and performance of competitors and industry leaders.
· Initiate and implement continuous improvement projects and initiatives to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of space management processes and systems.

· Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
· Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.
Budgets
· Provide input for preparation of the functional budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver objectives.
· Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

· Implement approved Unit / Divisional policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the work programs in line with Company and International standards.

· Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the function in line with the Company Performance framework.

· Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
· Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best Industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
· Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
Reports
· Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

6. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
· 8 of experience in space management, merchandising, or category management in retail
· Proficient in space planning software and tools, such as JDA, Spaceman, or Apollo
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
