We have an excellent job opening for the position of Project Development & Speciation Engineer for a multinational in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the development of the consulting firms, governmental bodies in UAE to achieve long-term relationship.
• Build up a professional specification know-how, tools, database and Network.
• Secure specifications of company Products and application solutions in all the relevant projects.
• Develop strategic plans and high level corporate relationships with the technical decision makers.
• Regular planned calls to engineering firms, jobsite consultants and governmental bodies.
• Responsible for preparing submittals, technical proposals, and conducting seminars.
• Assist sales team to close sales opportunities, as well as proactively generate new business opportunities.
• Build specifications chain across all sectors in the projects operations such as education, health, institutional, infrastructure of hotels, mall's, airports, residential, commercial and others.
• Reports newly obtained specifications by filling, scanning and distributing Project Report List to the local sales team as per department procedures.
• Update company's specifications to suit the consultant's requirements, or whenever Technical Data Sheets are updated or newly introduced by the sales team.
• Keeps track of existing and new competitive products being specified and sold in the market.
• Assists the local sales team(s) in securing approvals for product submitted to current projects under construction, in consolidating all Project Report List and Products Approval List from all projects on a monthly basis or whenever needed.
• Execute tactical implementation of the business plan to meet objectives, including activities such as following up on sales leads, developing quotations, meeting with prospects, etc.
• Supervise the good implementation of a solid tracking action by the sales force through contractors and sub-contractors once the project(s) has been specified.
• Interface and provides regular sales forecasts, reports, feedback on marketing, product - system offerings and operations strategies to management.
Requirement:
• University graduate: Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• About 3 to 5 years in a technical environment (i.e. design consultancy, manufacturing, construction site etc.)
• Previous experience in construction/ electronic is a plus.
• Expert user of computer packages (Microsoft).
• Knowledge of the construction industry would be an advantage
• Auto cad knowledge is a must
• Driving license
