Role


The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and has 3–5 years of experience in designing and managing scalable, secure, and automated Azure-based infrastructure. They should possess strong expertise in Azure DevOps, CI/CD automation, and cloud migration to drive operational excellence and efficiency.


Responsibilities


• Design, develop, test, and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines for web, mobile, and backend applications using Azure DevOps and related tools.
• Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure, including subscription management, resource provisioning, cost optimization, and scalability.
• Lead Azure migration projects, ensuring smooth transition, minimal downtime, and complete documentation.
• Implement Azure Well-Architected Framework principles to ensure reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, ARM templates, or Ansible.
• Establish and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems through Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics for proactive performance management.
• Implement and enforce security best practices, including IAM, RBAC, encryption, and compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC2, or GDPR.
• Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies are defined, implemented, and tested across Azure workloads.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to integrate DevOps practices throughout the SDLC.
• Continuously assess and recommend improvements in Azure infrastructure, automation, and operational processes.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment workflows, migration strategies, and security configurations.
• Stay up-to-date with Azure technologies, DevOps trends, and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency.


Requirements


• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering experience with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong expertise in Azure subscription management, resource optimization, and cost governance.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Ansible.
• Experience with Azure migration tools (e.g., Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery) for both cloud and hybrid environments.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure security, including Azure AD, RBAC, NSGs, and Key Vault.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics).
• Strong grasp of version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, automation, and troubleshooting skills in Azure environments.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working across cross-functional teams.
