JOB SUMMARY:
Main key contact for technical clarification in maintenance and responsible for all technical communication. Involved in the development of technical skills of the maintenance team. Arrange for resources and helps in solving technical problems as and when needed. Evaluates technical capabilities of maintenance field teams. Provides technical expertise and helps in developing our field team technical skillsets.
KEY RESULTS AREAS (RESPONSIBILITIES):
Must ensure teams follow the correct procedures, policies, and documentation requirements across maintenance duration.
Able to guide the team through the troubleshooting, testing and implementation stages and review the completed work effectively.
Provide direction and technical expertise in design, development and systems integration where required.
Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for maintenance implementation.
Identify resource and equipment requirements, efficient capacity planning and manage software and hardware availability.
Must provide technical training to teams when required and serve as a technical mentor to team members.
Regular site visits under AMC and making sure the system in place is running smoothly.
Checking the regular routine for Preventative Maintenance and the technical scope of work.
Conduct internal quality inspection for maintenance activities. Conduct technical site surveys for maintenance requests.
Prepare technical guidelines for maintenance team. Technical performance evaluation of team members to be done every quarter.
In control of the overall technical performance of the team.
Develop and maintain a remote maintenance program.
Ensures the efficiency of the maintenance teams.
Oversees the technical handover to maintenance teams.
Arrange for resources and help in solving technical problems on and offsite as and when needed.
Evaluates tender technical specifications. Attends and build Client and Vendor relationships.
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Detailed-oriented, excellent communication and presentation skills, customer orientation. Highly technical.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Engineering or IT as minimum. Project Management skills are essential; certification will be an asset.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
8-10 years experience in project management in security services companies. Must have extensive knowledge within UAE.
SPECIFIC SKILLS:
Project Management skills.
Very good command of English; good command of computer skills.
Resource management skills and ability to handle complex/sensitive issues. Mentoring and managerial skillset is required.
