As the Senior Manager of Technical Presales, you will play a critical role in driving Optasia's business model and ensuring a superior customer experience. You will be responsible for leading a team of technical presales professionals, providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales process. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the commercial and engineering teams to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions. With your deep technical knowledge and understanding of the fintech industry (mobile wallets, mobile lending), you will be instrumental in closing deals and driving revenue growth.


What you will do


  • Lead and manage a team of technical presales professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with sales and product development teams to understand customer requirements and develop customized solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise during sales presentations, demonstrations, and discussions.
  • Conduct in-depth technical product demonstrations to showcase Optasia's capabilities and address customer concerns.
  • Participate in customer meetings to uncover and understand needs, and effectively communicate Optasia's value proposition.
  • Work together with the customers in the solutions consultancy and design processes.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential and existing customers.
  • Prepare the Technical solution description for customer’s solutions, sign it off with clients and make it part of the delivery to the project implementation teams.

What you will bring


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years' of experience in technical presales or a similar role, preferably in the telecommunications industry, or mobile wallets.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of AI platforms, scoring, and financial decisioning.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Leadership and team management skills, with prior experience in leading a team of technical professionals.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as required for customer meetings and presentations.
