Job Description

To meet the operational, safety and regulatory requirements of Passenger Terminal Building to provide exceptional customer service while managing passenger flow, baggage flow and passenger experience. Develop processes and procedures to ensure seamless passenger and baggage processes. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless passenger journey and ensure highest Airport Service Quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES



Manage overall performance of Terminal Operations Team to achieve the highest Airport Service Quality.
Manage passenger and baggage processes within the terminal and ensure business Continuity at all times inside PTB and Landside.
Implement Airport operational concept, Manage processes/resources in Terminal Building to ensure enhanced travel experience for passengers travelling through the Airport. Ensure operational efficiency, adhere to and enforce all security regulations in coordination with statutory agencies, provide safe environment and facilitate seamless passenger movement.
Be familiar with all ICAO, GCAA and other relevant regulatory norms and be aware of the rules made by other statutory bodies, Ensure all stipulated rules and regulations are strictly adhered to by all staff, stakeholders and their employees at all times.
Act as a nodal officer to handle all emergency and crisis situations that occur in the PTB.
Establish, enforce and review SOPs, policies and guidelines pertaining to Terminal Operations team.
Manage all events organized by RAK International Airport in and around PTB and also facilitate events associated with VVIP/VIP/CIP visits.
Coordinate and synchronize all processes and sub-processes within the airport, in real time.
Co-ordinate with external agencies like Airport Police, Immigration, Customs, Airlines, Ground handling team, Service Agencies etc. to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure safe and efficient operations during expansion/ other projects in coordination with all internal and external stake holders.
Coordinate with all internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient day to day operations.
Be aware of department budgetary needs and efficient resource management to achieve departmental budgetary objectives.

JOB RELATED COMPETENCIES & SPECIFICATIONS SECTION



Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:



Computing skills in MS Word and MS Excel. Ability to learn things fast and implement them. Excellent customers services skills required. Requires problems solving skills. Strong in-house employee relationship and Man Management skills. Strong decision making skills and quick thinking ability.

Educational Profile and Experience:



Graduate and Fluent in the English language (both spoken and written). Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic Prior experience with reputed airline/Airport is an added advantage

Physical Demands:



Should be medically fit
