Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Utilities Design Manager- Infrastructure to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will lead the planning, design, and implementation of complex utility infrastructure projects, ensuring efficient and sustainable solutions for our clients.


  • Oversee the design and development of utility infrastructure projects, including water, wastewater, electricity, and gas systems
  • Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and contractors throughout project lifecycles
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
  • Conduct technical reviews of design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to address project requirements and obtain necessary approvals
  • Implement innovative design solutions and technologies to optimize utility infrastructure performance and sustainability
  • Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for complex infrastructure projects
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical. Mechanical or related field
  • Minimum of 15  years of experience in utilities design and infrastructure projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of utility systems, including water, wastewater, electricity, and gas infrastructure
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure planning, development, and regulatory compliance in the utilities sector
  • Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams in complex project environments
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies
  • Experience working on large-scale utility projects in the Middle East region is highly desirable
