Star Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Utility Operator with an electrical background to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time position with a contract of 3 years. As a Utility Operator, you will be responsible for carrying out routine tasks and operating utility plant equipment in order to ensure timely completion of daily operational work. You will also be expected to attend daily meetings and follow instructions from supervisors to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience in utility plant operation in the Oil & Gas industry. A strong background in electrical work is preferred. You should also have a good understanding of safety procedures and be able to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed. Key Responsibilities: • Operate utility plant equipment and carry out routine tasks to ensure timely completion of daily operational work. • Attend daily meetings and follow instructions from supervisors to ensure smooth operations. • Monitor equipment and report any malfunctions or abnormalities to supervisors. • Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed. • Adhere to safety procedures and regulations at all times. • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and operations. Requirements: • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in utility plant operation in the Oil & Gas industry. • Strong background in electrical work preferred. • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to follow instructions and work independently. • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment. • Must be willing to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies.
