JOB TITLE: Videographer


LOCATION: Abu Dhabi, hybrid work model


CONTRACT TYPE: Full-time, 6-month contract


REPORTING TO: Creative Services Studio Manager


PURPOSE OF THE ROLE


The Videographer will be responsible for the end-to-end production of social-first video content across multiple client accounts.
You will ensure the consistent, high-quality, and on-brand delivery of video content, while reducing reliance on freelance support and enabling smooth, cost-effective content production for the wider client servicing team.


The successful candidate will be confident managing filming schedules, working independently on shoots and edits, and collaborating closely with account, content, and social teams to meet campaign objectives and publishing timelines.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Plan, film, and edit social-first video content aligned to approved briefs, content calendars, and campaign objectives.
  • Deliver all planned monthly video outputs on time.
  • Ensure all video content adheres to client brand guidelines, tone of voice, and platform best practices, with minimal revision cycles.
  • Provide clear direction and reassurance to on-camera participants, helping them feel comfortable and prepared, particularly those with limited media experience.
  • Manage multiple shoot schedules, editing deadlines, and stakeholder availability across different client accounts.
  • Identify when additional freelance support or internal editing resources are required and proactively flag this to the team to maintain quality and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with account managers, content leads, designers, and social teams to ensure assets are delivered within agreed internal timelines.
  • Represent Acorn Strategy professionally on-site, engaging confidently with academics, executives, staff, and other stakeholders during filming.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • 2 - 4 years of professional videography experience.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end video production for social media, ideally within an agency or fast-paced content environment.Demonstrated ability to independently plan, shoot, and edit social-first video content across multiple platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders, executives, academics, and staff.
  • Collaborative, reliable, and proactive approach to working within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong technical proficiency in camera operation, lighting, audio capture, and post-production editing.
